When you show up for dialysis and want to exercise, it is important that you warm up before you start exercising.
Therefore, I will now introduce you to some warm-up exercises which you can do before you start exercising.
You can start by turning your head from side to side, and you can do this a few times until you think your shoulders and neck region are warmed up. Just slow and steady.
Then you can roll your head, like when you are making a double chin. From side to side, and you can do this a few times.
Then you can continue onto your feet, and tilt your foot, first the one foot, and then you can rotate, first the one way, and then the other way, and then you can do the same with the other foot. First tilt, and then rotate. First the one way, and then the other way.
Then you can bend your knee to warm up the knee, and you should do this a few times and then with both legs.
And when you have done this, then you are ready to start exercising.
