Are you taking the medication the doctor expects?

On the shared medicine card, which is also called the medicine card, you can see which medicine your doctor has recommended for you. You can also see how much or how often you are to take the medicine, and whether you have prescriptions where you can continue to receive medicines from the pharmacy.

The medicine card is not a physical card. You have access to your medicine card via sundhed.dk or the app which is called medicinkortet (the medicine card). In order to access your medicine card, you must use NemID.

In addition to you, relevant health professionals who are involved in your treatment use the information on your medicine card. It is therefore important that the information is correct to minimise the risk of errors or misunderstandings concerning your medication.

If you experience that there is a difference between what you take and what is on your medicine card, you must contact your doctor.
