When you show up for dialysis treatment, you have the option of also doing strength training standing up.
The first exercise is the knee lift, which strengthens the large thigh muscles.
The next exercise is the heel lift. Here, you can support yourself on the machine if you have trouble keeping your balance.
The third and last exercise is the squat, where you get up and sit down, and it also strengthens the thigh muscles.
